Coming soon- Free Ornament crochet pattern

I am in the process of making a crochet star ornament pattern. It will hopefully be up here on Monday! I am pretty excited about it! There will hopefully be more patterns for ornaments and I hoping I might even be able to do tutorials about making ornaments out of paper. It is going to be very fun!

Is there any certain ornament you would like me to try to design? Leave a comment telling me what. Keep in mind I can only design crochet patterns because I don't have that much experience in knitting or sewing.

I have already made an ornament for my first drop as part of this society, I am just on the lookout for a good place to put it. I am can hardly wait!

Grace and peace,

Welcome!

Welcolme to the ornament society!

My hope is that we will be able to create more joyous seasons throughout the entire year, not just Christmas. The idea is to make an ornament, put it in a plastic bag with a note (emailed to you upon request to join) and secretly place it in an area around your town where you think it will be found.

Christmas is fast approaching and it is one of the busiest times of the year. By stopping for a few minutes to do something for a complete stranger we can give back to the community. You can crochet, knit, sew, or even make a couple ornaments out of paper to "drop off" to the community! It doesn't matter what craft you do, as long as the ornament is handmade. It is so simple and super easy!

To join my fellow friends you can leave a comment below asking to join (please make sure there is a way to contact you through email) and the information needed to proceed will be emailed to you. We ask that all ornaments would be handmade and that you take a picture of it before doing the drop and of the place where you do the drop and email them to the same email that you got the information to join from. This means that the pictures will hopefully appear right on this blog!

If you can join, wonderful! We hope to hear from you soon!
